Level 1. Apprentice

Entry level worker with little or no experience. Will get trained in safety, technical knowledge, and practical skills and have 100% supervision on the job. Focus on safety awareness and extensive skills training.

Level 2. Craftsman

Intermediate level worker with minimum twelve months’ experience, excellent safety knowledge and awareness, and essential technical skills according to their job area. Ongoing skills training as needed.

Level 3. Assistant Foreman

Advanced level worker with a minimum of two years’ experience, expert safety knowledge and awareness, and mastery in technical skills according to their job area. Capable of managing a project on their own for short periods of time as needed.

Level 4. Foreman

Upon completion of Foreman in Training and Foreman Certification, a development path continues with Foreman 1, 2, and 3 levels with increasing responsibility. Coating industry certification will be required. Develops crew members at all positions through direct mentorship or through other team members.
