Commercial Painting

Exterior Painting of Parking Garage Towers for a Commercial Property Manager

Whether you’re painting your garage, kitchen, or office space, matching and coordinating your colors is important.

It’s not really any different when it comes to industrial and commercial painting projects; the scale is just typically a lot larger!

When our client called us, the structures that house the elevators and stairwells on either end of their parking garage did not match the rest of the building. Our mission was to clean and paint them, creating a cohesive, matching color scheme.

How Do You Paint a Parking Garage Full of Cars?

Very, very carefully (that’s the short answer).

Because of overspray concerns as we painted this fully-functioning parking space, we carefully tarped the area. Work containment was key, and is a practice that we are well versed in here at Painters USA.

As another safety measure, our team wore bright, highly-visible (although not very stylish) safety vests. We also used aerial lifts to accomplish our work, successfully keeping traffic flowing.

We also protected the landscaping. While it’s nice when the shrubberies complement the color of an adjacent building, they typically don’t need to be painted to match (yes, that was a joke).

Surface Preparation Before This Commercial Painting Project

Before we applied those fresh coats of paint, we began with careful surface preparation. This ensures successful adhesion, a long-lasting finish, and a healthy, attractive surface.

The result, as you can see above, is a fresh, matching color scheme for this parking garage. We were happy to help!

If we can answer any of your commercial or industrial painting questions, why not give us a call at Painters USA? It would be our pleasure to serve you.
