Sports Facility Painting in Wheaton, IL

Most of the time we are asked to complete a project on our own, working start to finish on a commercial or industrial painting project. Occasionally, however, we work alongside an existing maintenance or painting team at a facility, offering the help of our professional painters.

This was the case recently when we were asked by Wheaton College to assist with painting the large atrium in their sports facility. Because of the scope of the project, we spent a good deal of time planning the work and plotting out the best course of action, especially when it came to choosing the most ideal coatings for the wood, metal, and concrete surfaces involved.

We used our articulating boom and scissor lift to inspect the surfaces even more closely, and when we did we discovered that it might be wisest to paint only the metal trusses and simply deep-clean the rest. This saved the school money, but with careful taping and painting we were still able to achieve a crisp, bright result with a contrast that made the color scheme really pop.

Because it was our goal to not disrupt the activity in the facility, we worked off-hours and weekends to finish the project. We were very pleased with how it turned out, and so were the folks at Wheaton College!
